Biography

Hello again!

From a young age, I was captivated by how things worked. At age 10, a “Mechanix” playset and an investigation into my bicycle's mechanics sparked my curiosity. This early interest in engineering grew as I stumbled upon advanced materials like carbon fiber and titanium while questioning the resilience of tennis racquets. Choosing mechanical engineering after excelling in science, I quickly distinguished myself in undergraduate studies, presenting research projects and working as a powertrain engineer for Camber Racing, one of India’s top Formula Student teams. My drive led me to co-found a Hyperloop team, solidifying my ambition to solve real-world problems and pursue an MS from UC San Diego

I began my career at Tesla, focusing on exterior design before transitioning to a broader yet focused battery engineering role, honing my Mechanical Engineering skills. Over time, a deep-rooted passion for photography kept pulling me in a new direction. Wanting to bridge my passion and profession, I decided to study Optical Sciences. This was a dream I had nurtured for years, and my departure from Tesla paved the way for it. Now, my work involves intricate design and implementation of advanced systems, reflecting my deep interest in physics and math. My day consists of working in design labs and evenings, often on tennis courts! Drawn towards mathematics because of its absoluteness and physics because of its vastness, my life, to my friends, was an oxymoron. Call it what they may; to me, it’s perfectly balanced.
